TermoUniversal LLC (NVF TERMOUNIVERSAL) invites a Steel Structure Design Engineer to join the team. The company works in construction, engineering systems and the implementation of technical projects. We are looking for a specialist who can develop and support steel structure projects from technical specification through to fabrication and installation. Key Responsibilities
- Development of structural design solutions for steel structures.
- Preparation of fabrication design drawings (KM and KMD drawings).
- Development of working design documentation.
- Performing the necessary calculations for steel structures.
- Selection of sections, profiles, fastening units and connections.
- Development of assembly units, details and assembly drawings.
- Preparation of specifications for metal, products and materials.
- Preparation of drawings for production.
- Making changes to design documentation based on approval results.
- Interaction with production, installation teams, designers and other technical specialists.
- Technical support of fabrication and installation of structures.
- Verification of compliance of fabricated structures with design solutions.
Requirements
- Higher or specialised technical education.
- Experience working as a steel structure design engineer.
- Knowledge of the principles of calculation and design of steel structures.
- Ability to read and develop technical drawings.
- Knowledge of current building codes and standards.
- Confident command of AutoCAD.
- Experience with 3D modelling and steel structure design software will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Tekla Structures, Autodesk Advance Steel, Revit, SolidWorks or similar software will be an advantage.
- Ability to make technical decisions independently.
- Attention to detail and responsibility for results.
- Knowledge of English.
Advantages
- Experience preparing KM and KMD design/fabrication drawings.
- Experience working with steel structure production.
- Experience designing building frames, canopies, pipe racks, platforms, supports, staircases and other steel structures.
- Experience supporting structures at the fabrication and installation stage.
