Director of Design Organisation

TermoUniversal LLC is seeking a Director of Design Organisation to organise, coordinate and oversee the design department's work in the fields of construction, reconstruction and capital repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Organisation of the design organisation's work and coordination of designers, engineers, estimators, chief project engineers and other specialists.
• Control of preparation of design, working and estimate documentation in accordance with current building codes, standards and client requirements.
• Project supervision at all stages: from obtaining initial data to expert review and handover of documentation to the client.
• Interaction with clients, expert organisations, subcontractors, local authorities and other bodies.
• Monitoring deadlines, quality and completeness of project documentation.
• Organisation of internal review of design solutions, elimination of expert review and client comments.
• Participation in preparation of commercial proposals, contracts, terms of reference and work schedules.
• Formation and development of the design organisation team.

Requirements

• Higher education in construction, architecture or engineering.
• Experience in design, construction or technical supervision of construction projects.
• Knowledge of current DBN (state building codes), DSTU standards, construction legislation and project documentation development procedures.
• Understanding of expert review procedures for project documentation.
• Ability to work with technical specifications, estimate and contract documentation.
• Organisational skills, responsibility, attention to detail.
• Ability to negotiate with clients and regulatory/expert organisations.
• Driving licence category B and own vehicle.
